Isimeme Joseph Momodu: Championing Legal Excellence and Migration Advocacy
12 March 2025
Welcome to Vol. 2, Issue 001 of The Chronicle Newsletter
11 April 2025From the very first edition of the Magna Carta newsletter Kronicle in Autumn 2015 through the many editions that followed, we now present a new milestone: The Chronicle, Vol. 02 - Issue 001, Spring 2025, the first fully digital edition. This relaunch is a joint initiative of NAS Magna Carta and Walk347.
Over the years, The Chronicle has told our stories, from advocacy campaigns and community events to human rights projects and training. The founding of Walk347 has deepened this work, expanding collaboration and extending our impact in championing causes that matter.
Walk347 is a team of passionate individuals based in the United Kingdom, primarily across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Huntingdonshire. United by a shared commitment to making a difference, we work to uplift our communities and drive change locally and beyond.
Founded by Magna Carta, a deck (chapter) of the National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity), Walk347 reflects how staying relevant and leveraging technology can elevate advocacy, charity, and humanitarian work. Our website, www.walk347.com, is a prime example of how digital platforms can enhance visibility, coordination, and impact.
Now that The Chronicle is fully digital, we integrate the newsletter directly with the Walk347 website and our social media platforms. This allows for broader reach, connecting with new audiences across the UK, Nigeria, and beyond while also making it easier to access, manage, and maintain.
Going digital reflects our embrace of innovation as we explore how Walk347 can further humanistic ideals and advance a just society. This shift aligns perfectly with “Change over Stasis,” the sixth rudder blade of the Pyrates Confraternity.
Our Spring 2025 edition features a special focus: “The Nigerian ‘Japa’ Reality: Understanding the Impact of Migration on Families”. This is part of our recent ongoing research project, Mind the (Immigration) Gap.
As we set sail with this newly digital edition of The Chronicle, we invite you to join us on this voyage of collaboration for community and humanity.
Subscribe directly via the newsletter or visit www.walk347.com.
We would love to hear from you. Please share your thoughts, feedback, questions, or suggestions.
