Get Everyone ResusReady
16 October 2025This tradition was started by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) in 2012, as part of the European Restart a Heart Campaign, to raise public awareness about the importance of early cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation in saving lives. It is an occasion to underline the importance of everyone, old or young, urban or rural, professional or laypersons, acquiring basic CPR skills and resuscitation competence.
The National Association of Seadogs is wholly committed to developing a tradition of universal CPR competence among its members, and this has birthed the NAS Stitcher Project, an internal programme of CPR awareness, formal training and certification for all members. We aim to have a trained resuscitator wherever there is a Pyrate.
Aboard the Magna Carta Deck, we are vigorously following this programme of enhanced training and certified CPR skills acquisition, in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation, to whom we are very grateful. Our aim is 100% concordance with the CPR competence aim for all. We encourage our friends and family to key into this laudable and potentially life-saving skill acquisition, too.
Get CPR-qualified today! You might save a life in the next hour!
